11 North York Centres, Mapped

These are the North York centres with the broadest drop-in listings in the City's open data (pulled October 10, 2026). Amenities come from the City's own centre descriptions and its drop-in listings; the City dataset has no transit field, so we only name a subway stop where the City or a transit source does.

Sources: City of Toronto Open Data (Locations; Registered Programs and Drop In Courses Offering), toronto.ca. Drop-in counts are the number of distinct drop-in programs listed on October 10, 2026 and change each season. Fairbank Memorial CC is in the City's Toronto and East York district, so it is not included.

How City Registration Works

  1. Create an account in the City's Registration & Booking System, or call Recreation Client Services at 416-396-7378. You can also set up an account in person at a civic centre or community recreation centre.
  2. Browse programs once listings open (November 17 for winter 2027) and build a wish list.
  3. Register at the start time. The City says registration opens at 7 a.m. on most start dates, except older adult programs, which start at 10 a.m.
  4. Withdraw early if plans change. The City asks you to withdraw online up to one day before the program starts so people on the waiting list can get in.

You can only register members of your own immediate family and people you are legally responsible for.
